What are the components of the Team page?

My Apps includes a Team page that allows you to create your application development team by sending out invitations to members. Team members can then be viewed and managed in a summary listing.

Invite Team Members

The Invite More function allows you to send invitations to individuals that you would like to be part of your application development team.

• Existing team members are displayed in a summary listing.
• When an invitation is sent a "Team Invite" request email is issued.
• The invitee receives an invite on their Dashboard page. If the invitee is not a member, they must sign up using the same email address that the invitation is addressed to in order to accept the invitation via their Dashboard.

View Team Members

When a team member invitation is submitted, the username, email address, and invitation status (i.e., Email Sent, Approved, or Rejected) of the invitee is added to the Team Summary.

Manage Team Members

Team members can remove a Team Member from the listing.

How do I create a development team?

The My Apps > Team page includes a team member invitation function that allows you to send out invitations to individuals that you would like to be part of your application development team.

• When you create an app, you are the first team member.
• Your team membership is automatically approved and is posted to the Team Summary.
• You can invite additional team members using the Invite More function.

To create a development team:

1. Navigate to My Apps > App Name > Team. The Team page displays.
2. Click Invite More. The Invite Team Members page displays.
3. In the Email text box, enter the email address of one or more individuals you would like to invite to your development team. If you're inviting more than one person, separate email addresses with a comma.
4. In the Add a Brief Message text box, specify a personal message that will be sent to the people you're inviting.
5. Click Invite. The invitation email is sent. The platform also posts an invitation notification to the member's Dashboard. The invited member can then log into the platform to accept or decline the Team invitation.

Note: When you create an app, you are the first team member. You can then invite additional team members using the Invite More function. Invitees that are not members must sign up for the platform before accepting the team invitation.

How do I invite non-members to my development team?

Currently only members can be invited to a development team. See Basics for more information.

How do I respond to a team invitation?

If you receive an invitation via email to join a platform development team you can accept or reject the invitation.

• You must be a platform member to join a development team.
• If you have already received a development team invitation and are not currently a member, you must sign up using the email address that the team invitation was issued to in order to accept the invitation.
• If you are not currently a member, see Basics for more information.

To accept a team invitation:

1. Click the link in the team invitation email, log into the platform, and go to your Dashboard page.
2. Target your team invitation in the newsfeed.
3. To accept the team invitation, click Accept. The Accept this membership request text box displays. Enter a comment (if applicable) and click Confirm. The status changes to Membership Accepted.
4. To view team members for the app, click My Apps > Team. The Team page displays. Your username, email address, and Accepted team status displays. You can also view other members of the development team.

To decline a team invitation:

1. Click the link in the team invitation email, log into the platform, and go to your Dashboard page.
2. Target your team invitation in the newsfeed.
3. To decline the team invitation, click Decline. The Decline this membership request text box displays. Enter a comment (if applicable) and click Confirm. The status changes to Membership Declined.

How do I remove a team member from my development team?

Any team member can remove team members from their development team.

To remove a team member from an app development team:

1. Navigate to My Apps > App Name > Team. The Team page displays.
2. To remove a team member from your development team, target the line item of the team member and click Remove.

How do I cancel a team invitation?

Once a team invitation is sent, the invitation itself cannot be revoked. A member can choose to accept or decline the invitation. If they choose to accept the invitation, you can remove the team member from your development team on the My Apps > Team page by clicking Remove.
